Anyone have any experience running a DIY PiKVM V2 for an NVR? I am using an Amcrest NVR. I get the video fine and the keyboard works, but it is very hard to navigate. The mouse does not work. I would rather the mouse work and not the keyboard if I had to pick one. These NVRs usually just come with mouse and you use the onscreen keyboard if you need to.
Welp, that was an easy fix… I just changed mouse mode to relative instead of absolute and it’s all good now.
You can disable the absolute mode device via the kvmd-otgconf dynamically, or set it to disabled or start: false in the overrides if you’ll never need absolute for managing this device.
